Stitch Your Story is an international exhibition of 6 inch hoop embroideries exploring people’s sense of place and where they came from.
It is part of the British Textile Biennial 2021 and all the pieces can be seen in Blackburn Cathedral until 31 October.
Kathryn’s contribution is a flamboyant interpretation of the Ghanaian flag which uses threads in different shades of yellow, green, red and black, knotted onto linen.
Kathryn was born in Ghana in the same year as the country declared independence.
